What ages are the activities suitable for?+
Our sessions are grouped by age and stage, from 1 year old right through to 9 — from sensory-led play for our youngest crafters to more structured projects for older children. Each activity on our Classes & Activities page lists a suggested age range.
Do parents stay during the session?+
For our youngest crafters (under 3), we ask a parent or carer to stay and join in. For older children, most parents pop out for a coffee and come back for pick-up — though you're always welcome to stay if you'd prefer.
What should my child wear?+
Something you don't mind getting a little (or a lot!) messy. We provide aprons, but paint, glue and glitter have a way of finding their way onto sleeves.
What happens if we need to cancel?+
Life happens! Let us know at least 24 hours ahead and we'll move you to another session, free of charge. Just get in touch via our contact page or reply to your confirmation email.
Are materials included?+
Yes — every material for every project is included in the price of your session, aprons included. You don't need to bring anything except an excited little crafter.
Can you accommodate siblings?+
Absolutely. If your children fall into different age groups, we're happy to help you find sessions that run close together, or chat about a private session that suits the whole family.
Can you host private parties or events?+
We do! Birthday parties and small private group sessions can be arranged outside our regular schedule. Reach out through our contact page and we'll help you plan something special.
Where are the sessions held?+
Most sessions take place at our studio — Studio 4, Riverside Craft Yard. Nature Crafters sessions are held in the adjoining garden, weather permitting. Full directions are sent with every booking confirmation.
